How it started
Luby Software was founded in 2003 to build core banking systems for Brazil's largest financial institutions. Twenty years later, we'd shipped trading platforms, payment gateways, AML systems — and trained generations of engineers in the process.
Around 2018, US clients started asking the same question: 'Can your team join ours?' The answer was always yes — and the experience was always positive. NearSmarter formalized that pattern.
Why we exist
American companies need senior engineering capacity. They struggle to hire it locally — slow timelines, exploding salaries, intense competition.
